Here are a few quick tips to make sure you are ready.

• Listen to your REALTOR®! All of your friends at work who are giving you advice because they bought a house 30 years ago, be sure to thank them for their knowledge and ignore it. The market is different from when they bought.
• Is your preapproval up to date, within the last 2 weeks?
• Be ready to look at the house when it becomes available, time is of the essence.  It is just as stressful for the seller as it is for you.  Most often seller(s) work, have children & pets that they have to load in the car, and leave the house so we can tour the property.  Make your schedule flexible!
